This demonstrates the MIP reading data matrix codes through the window of every envelope. In doing so, it eliminates the risk of blank & masked envelopes and creates a database of every item with a time & date stamp, providing an audit trail of every job. At the same time, the MIP offsets an envelope at the mail break, automating the mail sort process on the output conveyor.
